Happy Monday friends! And welcome back to WordPress may I say! AH this month as a whole has FLOWN by for me! October is my favorite month to say the least- PUMPKIN FLAVORED EVERYTHING! Senior year is in full swing and I am rushing to do a million different things. But I still la-la-love bloggin and love this gallup program.
In our fourth week in this program we learned about designing a website to make things accessible to most users. awe learned where everything is usually located on a website. An example would be the logo icon is usually on the top left corner. Another example would be the navigation bar is along the top or on the right side.
The Nordstroms website is a good example with all the tools in the correct places.
In week four of Gallup get hip we learned all about designing a website to make things accessible to most users. First we learned about a general map of where everything is located. The home button or logo icon is frequently in the top left corner, while the login button, search bar or contact button is on the top right. There is usually a navigation bar along the top or the side and there can be a footer with further contact information.
We also talked about design with text. Good contrast is key ; we learned that a white backgrounds with black text is the best way to go.
